VietNamNet Bridge – The organising board of the 2013 All England Open Badminton Championships has finalised player seeds, draw and competition schedule.

Accordingly, Vietnam’s top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh has been seeded 8th for the tournament and is likely to compete against No. 1 seed Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia in the quarter-finals.
The other seeds, in order, are Chen Long (No. 2), Du Pengyu (No. 3), Sony Dwi Kuncoro (No. 4), Chen Jin (No. 5), Hu Yun (No. 6) and Kenichi Tago (No. 7).
The first two matches will see Chun Seang Tan (Malaysia) face Dieter Domke (Greece), and Suppanyu Avihingsanon (Thailand) play Sai Praneeth (India).
The winners of these two matches will then compete to play against Nguyen Tien Minh.
If he makes it through the first round, Minh will most likely play Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka (Indonesia) in the second round, who is currently placed 26th in the world.
In the first and second rounds, Lee Chong Wei will face Wong Wing Ki (No. 19), and either Wang Zhengming (No. 16) or Ajay Jayaram (No. 31).
The 2013 All England Open Badminton Championships makes up one tournament of the Super Series system.
The event is scheduled in Birmingham, UK, from March 5-10 and has total prizes to the value of US$400,000.
