VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnam’s top badminton player, Nguyen Tien Minh, is not named in the list of top ten players of the world, which was released on March 15. Minh lost one grade to stand at 11th.

This is the first time after 27 months Tien Minh was rejected from the top ten.

The same day he was defeated by Danish rival, Hans Kristian, who ranks 15th, at the 3rd round of the 2012 Badminton Swiss Open.

Recently, the Danish player has made remarkable advancement and is considered to surpass his predecessor Peter Gade, who won the world champion and Olympic champion titles for many years.

Vittinghus easily thrashed Minh 21-11 in the first set, in the face of strong resistance from the Vietnamese opponent he managed well to win 21-17 in the second set to finish the match in 38 minutes.
