Vietnam’s top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh will attend the Singapore Open Super Series from June 19-24.

Minh is seeded No.6 at the tournament, which means he will automatically advance to the first round against underdog World No. 52 Eric Pang from the Netherlands on June 20.

If he defeats Pang, Minh will face the winner of the match between India’s Ajay Jayaram and France’s Brice Leverdez in the second round.

His toughest challenge will be tournament No.2 seed Lee Hyun Il from the Republic of Korea, if he makes it to the quarter-finals.

The Singapore Open Super Series will be another test for the Vietnamese hopeful before the Summer Olympic Games begins in London this July.
