VietNamNet Bridge – Tiffany Linh Nguyen and Diem Quynh won the National Women’s Tennis Championships’ U18 doubles category Wednesday in Dak Lak Province.

The Binh Duong Province duo dominated Huynh Thi Hue Anh and Huynh Anh of Soc Trang Province 6-1, 6-1. 

The over-18 doubles title went to Savanna Ly Nguyen and Kim Ngan, who defeated Andrea Le and Be Xuyen 6-4, 4-6, 10-3 in an all-Army match.

Tiffany has her chance to take the second title here and earn a berth in the over-18 singles after beating Thanh Truc of HCM City 6-2, 6-1 in the semi-finals. She will play Savanna Ly Nguyen of Army in the final Thursday. Savanna won 6-1, 6-3 over Thanh Binh of Da Nang in the other semis match.

In the U16 singles, Andrea Le of Army came from behind to beat Mai Huong of Hai Duong 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 for a slot in the final. She will meet Nguyen Thi Phuong of Ha Noi.

In the last day of the tournament Thursday, there will be another final between Hanoian Nguyen Ngoc Minh Phuong and Hue Anh in the U18 singles event.
