E-commerce data platform Metric has released a report about e-commerce platforms Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, Sendo, and TikTok Shop

According to the report, the total revenue of these e-commerce platforms in this period was VND 92,745 billion, with more than 394,000 shops having orders, an increase of 46 percent year on year. 

However, as the TikTok Shop was not launched in the first half of 2022, the growth rate would be 22.5% for the four remaining platforms.

Shopee (VND 59,000 billion) was still the leading e-commerce platform in terms of revenue with an almost unchanged market share, accounting for 63 percent. 

The biggest surprise was TikTok Shop. With revenue of more than VND 16,000 billion, this platform replaced Lazada (VND 15,700 trillion) in second place, followed by Tiki (VND 1,600 billion) and Sendo (VND 112.3 billion).

In terms of products, on all five e-commerce floors, beauty products brought the most revenue with over VND 16,000 billion, followed by women's fashion and home appliances. Beauty topped revenue on Shopee, Lazada, Tiktok Shop while phones and tablets yielded the highest revenue on Tiki.
