Tlinh and Grey D become first exclusive recording artists of MMUSIC

MMUSIC is one of the most important projects of METUB Network in 2022.

On 24 March, the MMUSIC Launching Event took place at the METUB Network’s in HCM City.

The event had the presence of METUB Network’s CEO Ha Thi Tu Phuong, MMUSIC’s Managing Director Tran Thi Bao Trang, many Vietnamese young artists such as Wren Evans, Hoang Duyen, Tlinh, Grey D, Music Director – Onionn and over 200 VIP guests.

The MMUSIC Launching Event also welcomed many important partners in the industry, including Ms. Lan Khanh, Mr. Tran Thang Long and Ms. Judy Nguyen from Universal Music Group, representative of Apple Music – Mr. Richard Vu, representative of Spotify Vietnam – Ms. Ha Do, representative of NhacCuaTui – Mr. Thien Nhat, representative of Zing MP3 – Mr. Vu, representative of Billboard Vietnam – Mr. Tuan Bui, representative of TikTok Vietnam – Ms. Phong Phuong, and representative of ST.319 Entertainment – Mr. Aiden Nguyen.

At the event, METUB Network officially disclosed its key project in 2022, MMUSIC – Music Record Label, to partners and the media. MMUSIC is a music ecosystem and new playground dedicated for Gen Z music artists and audiences in Vietnam.

With the desire to accompany, support and provide opportunities for Vietnamese artists to easily reach out to their target audiences and generate new chances for international collaboration, MMUSIC is operated by METUB Network – a leading digital and entertainment company in Vietnam.

METUB Network has supported more than 3,000 content creators, 200 brands in the process of content creation, promotion campaigns with more than 7 billion monthly views. This can be considered as the important competitive advantage of MMUSIC to become the tailor-made for the Gen Z’s music.

“We have realized that the Vietnamese music industry has prospered and young artists are increasingly asserting their influences among young audiences. Furthermore, Gen Z artists have plethora of potentials and passions to pursue their dream and contribute to the development of the industry,” said MMUSIC’s Managing Director Tran Thi Bao Trang.

“We believe that if Gen Z artists can be fully well-equipped and supported, they are capable of introducing and representing Vietnamese music industry on the world map. Although at the moment, they have full access to the prevailing trends, expressing their own egos through music and being ubiquitous with the support of social media and music platforms, young Vietnamese artists still face a lot of obstacles. These are producing, releasing, promoting new music projects to pursue their passion for a long-term goal effectively. Grasping market demand and understanding Gen Z artists are the ultimate goal of MMUSIC”, added Ms. Trang.

MMUSIC has launched the first Vietnamese Record Label, which supports both recording and distribution with two important strategic partners - Universal Music Group and Ingrooves. MMUSIC will also implement strategic campaigns for young artists based on their characteristics and expectations. At the same time, MMUSIC will offer the opportunity to expand the collaboration between Vietnamese and international artists in the near future.

Recently, MMUSIC has signed contracts with Tlinh and Grey D as its Exclusive Recording Artists. Tlinh impresses fans by her feminist rap songs and sexy image while Grey D draws attention by his talent of composing and playing musical instruments.

Started as a Record Label at this moment, MMUSIC supports young artists in producing, releasing on all the music distribution platforms in Vietnam and helping them reach out to mass audiences. In the future, MMUSIC will play an important role in becoming a bridge connecting artists and brands, media and hopefully establishing artists’ business based on the Fan Business Model.

Last but not least, the operating principle of MMUSIC is based on the hashtag 2M4S (2M – 4S), symbolising that artists come to MMUSIC to develop Sol – music, Soul – soul, Stream – Listeners, Show – Performance opportunities. Especially, MMUSIC also support young artists in terms of music copyright.
