The Vietnamese women’s football team lost 0-3 to their Korean rivals in Group A’s final match of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 qualifiers in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on February 9.
The Vietnamese women’s football team have a big chance to compete at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 after their rival, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), withdrew from the upcoming third qualifying round of the Games.
Vietnam’s sport sector will strive to have more athletes eligible to compete at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 in Japan, heard a conference of the Vietnam Sports Administration in Hanoi this week.
Following their success at the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 30) in the Philippines, the Vietnamese national women’s team convened in Hanoi on December 24 to prepare for the third qualifying round of the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
