have to regret later about that.

It’s now the mid-semester test season, but T never turns up in the class. He only goes to the class once or twice a week.
T spends most of his time working as a telephone operator for a company for which he earns 3 million dong a month. As he has to spend time on earning money, he has no more time for studying. As a result, T failed four out of the seven exams last semester.
Two years ago, T and his parents once took pride when he passed the entrance exams to the University of Technology, one of the most honorable schools in the country. However, he now dislikes himself. T is considering giving up school and attending the exams to another school to “renew his life.”
There are many students like T. However, they are less lucky than T, because they do not have enough courage to “restart their lives” like T.
G, a student of the HCM City University of Social Sciences and Humanity, was once self-satisfied because she began earning money since she was a second year student. The money she earned from serving as waiter at restaurants was enough for her to cover her basic needs, including meals and beautiful clothes.
However, G had to sacrifice many things for the money. G’s friends all have finished school and got good jobs, while she still keeps busy working at restaurants to get the modest money for simple works.
Previously, G thought that it was not important when she graduates school, now or after some more years. However, G really feels regretted her decision, while her friends can earn money with good stable jobs, she still does not have any career.
Going to a university is the dream of every Vietnamese student. And the doors of the Transport University once opened widely to V, a student of the school. However, V never could finish his university training.
“When I was a student, I only thought about what I needed to do to earn money to pay tuitions, room rental and to cover my basic needs. Therefore, I spent most of my time on working, while ignoring lessons and classes,” V said.
V once joined the pyramid sale network, the job which brought him a lot of money and satisfied him because with which he could buy more clothes and shoes. As V did not have time for studying, he continuously failed the semester-end exams and had to repeat classes.
“I felt too tired of studying, therefore, I gave up studying and went working,” he said.
Gambling, playing games and then becoming crimes
Unlike V, H, a student of the HCM City University of Technical Education, was born into a well-off family which could support his study and H did not have to work for money. However, it was the money which spoiled H.
He spent the money remitted by parents from Gia Lai on card playing and gambling. H did not come to lecture halls like his friends, because he was fond of going to the places where he could spend money. As H failed too many exams, he had to repeat classes and then he decided to give up school.
Meanwhile, B had the habit of spending money on games. He spent sleepless nights at games shops and days at home sleeping. B never went to classes, except the exam days.
In fact, B is not alone. Educators warn that there are too many Bs who can be seen at games shops playing cards, betting on soccer matches or playing online games. A lot of students have to sell their motorbikes, pawn laptops and bog down in debts just because of gambling.
“When you get passionate with betting, you will never escape from it,” a second student of the Transport University said.
