Tourists should not miss the chance to savour scenic views of golden fields in Hoang Su Phi in the northern province of Ha Giang or beautiful gardens in Da Lat city this October.
Yellow Hoang Su Phi terraced fields in the northern province of Ha Giang is a popular tourist destination. Easily accessible to visitors from My Dinh bus station, the region is 300km from Hanoi. Visitors can visit the hamlets of Ban Luoc, San Sa Ho, Ban Phung, Ho Thau, Nam Ty and Thong Nguyen which are home to the most scenic terraced fields. The ripening rice season is expected to last until October 10 and visitors can experience local life and taste delicious local food here. Pu Luong Nature Reverse is 130km north-west of Thanh Hoa province, attracting visitors and photographers to marvel at the yellow rice fields during the ripening rice season. The destination is ideal for visitors during the weekend. Chu Dang Ya volcano is about 30 km to the northeast Gia Lai town. In October, the area is enriched by vibrant Da Quy flowers (a type of wild sunflower). Visitors can experience harvesting alpinia officinarum, a type of ginger, with locals during harvest season and wander through the lush green meadows in the area. Da Lat in the central highlands of Lam Dong is another interesting destination for visitors as they can enjoy the sunrise at a mountain pass or savour scenic views of pine forests in the early morning. Tourists can visit beautiful botanical gardens to pluck and enjoy the natural taste of fruit. Tra Su indigo forest in the southern province of An Giang during the wet season entices many tourists in October. Visitors can travel 250km by motorbike or car. Tourists must rent a boat to go inside the forest to see natural landscapes and enjoy local specialties during the journey. |
