Over the past 10 years, the Victory Cup has recognized more than 100 outstanding individuals, including such renowned names as Nguyen Thi Anh Vien, Quach Thi Lan, Nguyen Huy Hoang, Do Hung Dung, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Hoang Xuan Vinh, and Nguyen Quang Hai.
The 2025 edition will maintain 11 award categories, covering a broad spectrum of Vietnamese sports. These include: Male Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year, Young Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, Duo/Group of the Year, Most Favorite Athlete, Outstanding Para-Athlete of the Year, Most Impressive Sports Moment of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Outstanding Contribution to Sports Diplomacy.
The total prize pool for Victory Cup 2025 is 750 million VND (approximately $30,000). Among the top categories, each winner of “Male Athlete of the Year,” “Female Athlete of the Year,” and “Team of the Year” will receive 100 million VND (around $4,000).
The award features two rounds of voting. The first round is open to public voting nationwide, while the second round involves a judging panel of managers, experts, and prominent journalists. The organizers will finalize the nominees after the 33rd SEA Games, taking place from December 9 to 20.
