Vietnam has a wide range of destinations for travelers to enjoy during March including Dien Bien, Hanoi, Da Lat, Con Dao, and many more. As we start to see flowers bloom across the country, here are some of the nation’s most idyllic destinations for travelers to visit this month.
 Lots of people enjoy visiting the northwestern province of Dien Bien during March to enjoy the stunning Ban flowers, scientifically known as Bauhinia Variegata, in full bloom. Particularly popular is the Ban flower festival which is held in the province from March 13-18 and features a diverse range of tourism activities.  Visitors can also pay a visit to the A1 hill, the site of the famous battle of Dien Bien Phu, and gain a historical insight into the area’s history.  The best time to chase clouds in the mountains of Ta Xua and Hang Dong in Bac Yen district, Son La province, is between November and March.  Adventurous travelers often enjoy savouring the scenic views on offer of majestic mountains, white clouds, the vibrant white colour of Ban flowers, and a wide range of other wild flowers in the north-western region. Despite these advantages, tourism activities remain under-developed in Bac Yen district  March is considered to be the best time to visit the capital city of Hanoi due to the emergence of stunningly beauty Sua flowers, also known as Dalbergia tonkinensis prain,on every street corner.  Ban flowers, Citrus maxima, and Melia azedarach flowers are symbols for March in Hanoi. This is the season in which one can see foliage transform in colour. During this time, visitors can savour the scenic views of these beautiful flowers in the streets of Hai Ba Trung, Phan Boi Chau, along Xuan Huong lake, and throughout Hoa Binh  Visitors can also experience a breathtakingly beautiful sunset from the mountain peak of Hon Bo, Tuyen Lam lake, or Trai Mat  Con Dao is located in the south of Vietnam, it is about 97 nautical miles from Vung Tau city and consists of 16 islands and islets. March is the best time to explore Con Dao due to the favourable weather conditions and calm sea. |
