Mau Son Mountain in the northern province of Lang Son is considered a paradise for ‘snow hunters’. With an altitude of 800-1,000 m, it is one of the coldest regions in Vietnam. Apart from enjoying snow in Mau Son, tourists can visit other tourist attractions such as Tam Thanh cave, To Thi Mountain, and Ky Cung temple while discovering local specialties. Sapa in Lao Cai province is located at an altitude of 1,600m above sea level. The temperature in Sapa in winter can drop to between 0-5 Celsius. It is one of the best places to enjoy stunning snowy landscapes with trees, mountains, and hills blanketed with frost. Tay Con Linh in Ha Giang province delights visitors with its spectacular views of ice crusted forests and mountains carpeted with snow.
