VietNamNet Bridge – This toy fair for children opens once a year on the second day of the lunar year in the northern province of Thai Binh. This year the fair took place on February 11.

The special market is called “Goi” because it is held in Goi village, Dong Hop commune, Dong Hung district of Thai Binh province. The goods offered at the fair are mainly toys and the customers are children, who go to the market with their parents, brothers and sisters.

The fair has had several decades of history. The fair was formed tens of years ago when to he makers sold their products in the village’s communal house during Tet. Since then, it has become an annual event of local children.
