On July 19, Toyota announced the lineup for its annual Summer Scholarship Benefit Concert Series, giving fans the opportunity to see some of their favourite artists perform at venues across Vietnam.

The Toyota concert series will lead off its 20th season on Wednesday, August 16 in Ho Chi Minh City, followed by concerts Saturday, August 19 in Vinh Phuc and Friday and Saturday, August 25-26 in Hanoi.

The Vietnam National Orchestra Symphony under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji will open things up along with pianist Nguyen Viet Trung and soloists Dang Duong and Dao To Loan who are returning to the concert slate.

All proceeds of the concerts will go to the Toyota scholarship fund for young performing artists, said Do Thu Hoang, a member of the board of directors of Toyota Vietnam in announcing the lineup.
