VietNamNet Bridge – The most expected annual classic concert will be held at the HCM City Opera House on November 3, with the participation of the Northeast German Philharmonic Orchestra, which has performed at the most famous theatres in the world.  
 



Forty-five artists of the Northeast German Philharmonic Orchestra, pianist Pamela Nicholson and violinist Vasko Vassilev, together with Vietnamese young talented soprano Pham Thi Duyen Huyen will perform at the concert under the baton of talented master German conductor Thomas Dorsch for only one night.

Duyen Huyen, the only Vietnamese artist at Toyota Classic 2011, obtained scholarship from the Toyota Scholarship Program for Vietnam’s young music talents in 2009.

Toyota Classics concert is an annual musical event in the country. The show not only contributes to cultural development in Vietnam, but also creates an opportunity for local music students and teachers to learn from performances by world-famous orchestras.

HCM City is one of the destinations of this annual concert series this year, besides Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei), Seoul (South Korea), Taipei (Taiwan), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) from October 28 to November 10.

Tickets range from VND300,000 – VND800,000 with all proceeds going to the Toyota scholarship for Vietnamese young music talents.

The event is being organized by Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Motor Vietnam in cooperation with Vietnam Performing Arts Center of the Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
