During this period the number of cases declined by 6,205, or 35.15%, while the number of deaths and injuries decreased by 1,245 and 5,841, equivalent to 16.32% and 42.81%, respectively.

In terms of the number of accidents, 11,323 cases occurred on the road, claiming 6,265 lives and injuring 7,777 others, thereby marking falls of 35.08%, 16.2%, and 42.77%, respectively.

In 95 railway accidents, 74 people were killed and 21 others were injured, down 41.73% and 54.35%, respectively.

On the waterway, there were 32 cases, a decline of 46.67%, as well as 45 deaths, up 73.08%, and six injuries, down 33.33%, on-year.
