Street hooligan is a problem

Hooligan behavior, violence after minor traffic collisions on the road has become one of the problems in big cities. In this regard, psychological expert Nguyen Thi Tam, Director of the Hon Viet Center for Training and Application of Scientific Psychology (Phu Nhuan District, HCM City), said that murders come from minor traffic collisions left very painful social consequences.

According to Tam, victims of these murders could be the pillar of their family. When a family loses a member, they not only suffer from mental anguish but also lose their supports while the society loses labor.

Families of murders also suffer from material losses (paying huge compensation for the victim), emotional damage when their children have to face the law.

Such cases have made people to be in anxiety, insecurity, and lose confidence in the society in which they live.

According to Tam, there are many reasons causing this painful reality. People today are under great pressure of time, tension and even suffer from stress in their life.

They want to travel as quickly as possible to address their tasks. When traffic collisions occur due to intense pressure after a hard-working day, they cannot master their emotions, their behavior. They are ready to "explode,” to make aggression, verbally abuse and swipe at others and it's easy to lose their temper.

If people understand the law, are mature and strong in thought, live with clear purpose and understand the meaning of their life, they will appreciate their life and others, with little things like collision on the road, they can resolve it smoothly.

She also stressed on the education and dissemination of traffic laws, culture of behavior, consciousness, etc. for students.

"In my opinion, there should be effective methods of transmission of the law, traffic regulations in simple ways, easy to understand for children. In the past, children were often taught by poems and songs. I have a friend who is now 60 but he still remembers a poem about traffic laws that he was taught at the elementary school," Tam said.
