VietNamNet Bridge - A stationary life-size robot tall as an adult is being used to guide traffic at a construction site on Nguyen Hue Road.

This robot is owned by the T & T Transport Trading & Services Co., Ltd., a contractor of the project to upgrade Nguyen Hue Street.

The robot has been used for about a week. It stands still but its arms, with a long stick attached in the hand, move up and down to guide traffic.

Some foreign tourists have stopped to take photos of the robot.

Nguyen Anh Thuyet, from the T & T Transport Trading & Services Co., Ltd, said the company had used traffic-guide robots for more than four years.
