Ho Chi Minh City is now preparing for the 12th International Travel Expo HCMC from September 8 to 10.

The Expo will attract leading international travel bloggers from Denmark, France, Finland, Norway, and the UK, who will share their experience to promote tourism on social media.

In its eleven years the Expo has opened up cooperative opportunities in tourism for five tourism centers: Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Vientiane, Yangon, and Ho Chi Minh City.

This year the event is expected to attract over 30,000 participants, an increase of 20 to 30 per cent compared to last year.

Nguyen Bao Anh, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Center said that the city is trying to improve is tourism environment for tourists, ensuring security and supporting visitors.

State agencies will also cooperate with tourism agencies to support tourists, he added.
