At Dong Ngu Lake, Thach Thanh District of Thanh Hoa Province, a unique exhibition of paintings and installation artworks was held recently with the theme "Rung Xoe 2".

Over 60 artworks by nearly 30 artists were displayed on the lake and in the forest. Paintings were placed on floating rafts on the river or set up in the forest. The works on display are about the environment, life, climate change and world peace. 

The purpose of the organizers was to let the audience enjoy art in a natural setting.

''The art installations and performances of artists and sculptors are displayed at the edge of the forest, on the lake surface to show viewers the need to love nature more, to appreciate the value of of life,” said painting collector Nguyen Cuong.

Painter Nguyen Duc Lam said: ''In this exhibition, the message we want to release is that painting should not be enjoyed only in drawing rooms, galleries, or museums. We want to bring artworks to nature so the viewer can interact with the art. Both artists, their works and audiences are immersed in nature.”

Climate change affects the living environment of people and things. Through this exhibition, the artists wanted to convey the message: People should live in harmony with nature and live in harmony with nature so that everyone can live in a green, clean and beautiful environment.
