My Anh was named first runner-up at the Miss Universe Vietnam 2026 final in Hai Phong on the evening of October 2. The following morning, the Miss Earth Organization announced that Briones would replace her as Miss Earth Water 2025.

Briones will hold the title until the new Miss Earth Water 2026 is crowned at the pageant scheduled for December.

"Nathalie will continue to champion the spirit of love in action, inspiring communities to protect our precious water resources and turn environmental awareness into meaningful action.

We look forward to seeing Nathalie use her voice and passion to make a difference in sustaining our water resources," the Miss Earth Organization said in its announcement.

My Anh won the Miss Earth Water 2025 title in the Philippines on November 5, 2025. Her reign was originally due to end only when Miss Earth 2026 crowned its new titleholders later this year.

At the time of Miss Universe Vietnam 2026, My Anh was therefore still serving as Miss Earth Water 2025.

Her first runner-up finish at Miss Universe Vietnam on October 2 meant she had to relinquish her Miss Earth Water title for breaching pageant regulations.

Born in 2003, My Anh is from Nghe An Province in central Vietnam. She is 1.75 meters tall, with measurements of 80-62-91 centimeters.

She previously studied human resource management at Thuongmai University.
