tropical storm nalgae heads toward east sea picture 1
A tropical depression has strengthened into storm Nalgae in the eastern part of the Philippines and is anticipated to move into the East Sea in two days' time.

At 7pm on October 27, Nalgae was churning through the eastern part of the Philippines, packing winds ò approximately70kph near its centre.

In the next 24 to 48 hours, the storm is anticipated to sweep across the Philippines’ Luzon island and enter the East Sea.

This will be the seventh storm of its kind to hit the regional waters this year.

Most regional weather forecasters have agreed that Nalgae is likely to move north after it moves into the East Sea.

The storm is said to gain strength and develop in a complex manner, meteorologists said, adding that they are putting the storm under scrutiny.
