VietNamNet Bridge – A serious accident occurred on the evening of September 11 in the village of Quang Loc in Dak R'Lap district, Dak Nong province.

After school, three ninth grade students of Vo Van Kiet Secondary School who are residents of the same village of Quang Thanh when home on one motorbike. The driver was Nguyen Duy Bao born 1997) and two occupants were Pham Thi Hau (born 1998) and Truong Thi My Le (born 1998).

When they saw the traffic policemen patrolling on the road, fearing of being fined, they sped up to escape from police. During the run, the motorcycle plunged into a dam. Bao and Le drowned.

After the unfortunate incident, people picked up the body of Bao while Le was swept away.

By the morning of September 12, the remaining victim was not found yet.

On September 12, the local authorities rewarded five 9th grade students of Vo Van Kiet Secondary School who saved Hau. The same day, the local authorities also gave VND4 million ($200) to the families of the dead victims.
