
Tuyet Lan aims to build up her fame through this prestigious contest. She will wear the latest ao dai designed by highly-regarded designer Vo Viet Chung. The special ao dai is inspired by traditional costume of Vietnam’s Dao ethnic group.
The model will perform a dance in the Talent Show. She will leave Vietnam today, November 24.
Created in 1983, Elite Model Look is the most prestigious international modeling contest. The competition has propelled many aspiring and up-and-coming talents to become international top models, including Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymourr, Tatjana Patitz, Gisele Bundchend, Natalia Semanova, Yfke Sturm and Mini Anden.
The jury this year will include selected fashion designers, photographers and experts of Elite, including Cindi Crawford. They will choose the top 15 models. The top three will sign contracts with Elite, worth $1 million.
Tuyet Lan was born in 1990, 1.76m tall, with body measurement of 84-60-89. Her career as a professional model began in 2010 when Lan ranked second at the Vietnam's Next Top Model 2010.
Tuyet Lan also won the first prize at the Asian Model Search 2011 in Singapore. She appeared in Vietnam’s largest fashion shows like Fashion Week, Đẹp Fashion Show and Elle Fashion Show.
