This film, which is shooting in a Vancouver Island beach area in British Columbia, has been delayed owing to tsunami advisories following the strong earthquake that struck Japan early on March 12, according to a statement Summit Entertainment said to MTV News.

Although the cast was not in any danger, the “Twilight” co-stars along with the rest of the Wolf Pack were transported out of the region for safety measures, reported US magazine.

"All cast and crew were evacuated to base camp. Everyone is safe and sound," writes a Twilight Sage page on Facebook. (
