VietNamNet Bridge – At the witness of their friends, a boy kneeled to present a bunch of roses to another boy near the Hoan Kiem Lake, in center Hanoi.
Pictures of the two young gays were posted on a fanpage for same-sex marriage on Facebook on July 7. The administrator of this page said that the couple chose a special day, Saturday July 7, to show their love.

The caption for these pictures is: “On the afternoon of Saturday, July 7, a nice and lucky day, two boys in the Youth Dream Club declared their love to each other in a very romantic way, at the witness of their friends.

Let’s congratulate them and applaud their braveness!”

Some supported and praised the courage of the young couple but some others did not like this way of expression of love.

“I can’t understand them. The community sympathizes with the sufferings of the “third world” but they should not abuse social sympathy!” nickname Lamthuns65 commented.
