Ballet dancers of the Talarium Et Lux theater will thrill Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City audiences with two famous classical ballets ‘Swan Lake’ and ‘Nutcracker’ at Ballet show 2016 according a press briefing on November 2.

Accordingly, the ‘Swan Lake’ will be performed in Ho Chi Minh City on December 1, and the other at the Vietnam National Convention Centre in Hanoi on December 3.

Swan Lake composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875 – 1876 tells the story of Odette, a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse.

The Nutcracker Ballet by Tchaikovsky is one of the most famous ballets in the world.  based on the story "The Nutcracker and the King of Mice" written by E.T.A.Hoffman. Its second version was re-written by the French writer Alexandre Dumas.

On November 25, an amazing concert ‘I have a dream’ will come on the Hanoi stage with the participation of 30 young Russian ballet dancers, who perform the “Nutcracker”.

All proceeds from the concert will go to Thien Nhan Charity Association.
