VietNamNet Bridge – After two senior officials of Tien Lang district were dismissed, two officials of Vinh Quang commune have been punished for their mistakes in the land withdrawal case.
   
PM concludes Tien Lang officials wrong in eviction

The Party Committee of Tien Lang Commune has given a warning to Party Secretary cum Chairman of the People’s Council of Vinh Quang commune, Mr. Pham Dang Hoan, and Vice Party Secretary cum Chairman of the People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Liem.

The committee also asked Vinh Quang commune’s Party Cell to learn from experience in the land withdrawal in the commune.

Earlier, Tien Lang District’s Chairman and Vice Chairman Le Van Hien and Nguyen Van Khanh were dismissed. The district’s Vice Party Chief Bui The Nghia was given a warning.

On February 10, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said that local authorities were wrong in the land revocation in Tien Lang district.

Doan Van Vuon’s family has sent a petition to President Truong Tan Sang to ask for tolerance for Vuon and his brother Doan Van Quy, who are accused of opposing law enforcing officers.

In related news, the Aquacultural Association of Tien Lang District will build a temporary house for Doan Van Vuon’s family today, February 29.
