The Vietnam Record Book Centre has certified the 4,000 square metre Love Maze with its 24,000 trees as the largest bewildering network of passages in the country, according to a local newspaper.
In addition, the newspaper said the dragon and peacock statues have also set the Vietnam record for the largest gemstone mascots. It took some 270 Thai artisans one year to create the pair of statues.
They are made of silver and bronze, plated with 24K gold and decorated with crystal and precious stones.
The dragon statue measures 132 cm high by 114 cm wide and weighs 88.5kg, while the peacock is 170 cm in height, 127 cm in width, and weighs 125kg.
According to Thai belief, dragon and peacock are sacred animals symbolizing power, wealth and luck.
