Famous actresses Angela Phuong Trinh and Thanh Thuy, who are main casts of the Vietnamese movie “Taxi, Em Ten Gi?” (Taxi, what’s your name?), have been invited to the Cannes Film Festival, which will take place in May in France.

“Taxi, what’s your name?” is a hilarious story of Thuong Phong – an absent-minded amphibian scientist and a tomboy female taxi driver named Binh Chi. Thuong Phong misses his flight to Da Lat and has to travel by taxi to make his proposal with his girlfriend – Ha May in time.

The Cannes film Festival, founded in 1946, is one of the world's oldest and most prestigious film festivals. The private festival is held annually (usually in May) at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, in the resort town of Cannes, in the south of France.
