Ever since Blade Runner (1982) hit theaters, there has been a divide among its fans about whether or not Harrison Ford's Rick Deckard is a human or a replicant. It's a question that the film leaves up to the viewer, though director Ridley Scott, Ford, and everyone else has chimed in with their own thoughts on the subject. With the sequel, there will certainly be more fuel on the fire of Deckard's true identity. Denis Villeneuve did go on to say that the mystery will be something they address in the film and that re-contextualizing the original film with any answers they present in the sequel is a concern of his: "The thing I must say is that I love mystery. I love shadows. I love doubts. I would just want to say to the fans that we will take care of that mystery. I will take care of it."

Ciel Rouge (Red Sky)
Director: Olivier Lorelle
Stars: Cyril Descours, Audrey Giacomini
Runtime: 91 min
Genres: Drama
Release Date 27/10
Language: French with Vietnamese subtitle
Rated: C16 - NO CHILDREN UNDER 16 YEARS OLD
“Ciel Rouge” (Red Sky) was directed by Oliver Lorelle. The film was shot entirely in Vietnam (Bac Kan and Ha Giang) and is a collaboration of director Olivier Lorelle (also screenwriter of “Indigènes” and “Hors la loi”), lead actress Audre Giacomini and the production team (Edouard Mauriat, Mathieu Ripka, and Vietnamese actress Chieu Xuan).
The film tells the story of Philippe, a French soldier committed to pacifying an unfamiliar country made up of dense forests and rugged mountains. His ideals collapse when he is forced to torture and kill a young Vietnamese woman, named Thi, who is fighting for national independence.
Unlike previous French films about the war in Vietnam such as ‘L’Amant’, ‘Dien Bien Phu’ and ‘Indochine’, Vietnam’s natural landscape is a major theme in Ciel Rouge and the war is only a background to the love story between the two main characters.
Audrey Giacomini, French actress of Vietnamese origin, stars in the film directed by César winner Olivier Lorelle. Ciel Rouge’s filming locations included Ba Be Lake in Bac Kan province and the rocky mountains of Ha Giang province.
Director Oliver Lorelle said “25 years after Indochine, there is another French movie being screened in Vietnam. It’s great to screen authentic shots of Vietnam. Normally films about war in Vietnam are filmed in the south. I chose the northern mountains because they are not as well-known.”
Olivier said Mathieu Ripka, who has a profound knowledge of Vietnam, persuaded the production team to come to Vietnam. They had many authentic shots of Vietnam’s landscape and ethnic groups. Ciel Rouge was filmed in Vietnam in a month, but the production team spent several months prior to that surveying the sites and local life.

The story takes place three months after the epilogue of The MOVIE 2nd A's, with Nanoha and her friends attending 5th grade during the summer of 0067, when there is also no canonical coverage of what happened in the primary continuity.
