Hoa will be the only Vietnamese ready-to-wear clothing designer attending the prestigious fashion event this year.

The 31-year-old designer is residing in Ha Tinh province and graduated from National Economics University in Hanoi. She now mostly lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City.

She built the wedding dress brand Eleven S, which has proved to be a favourite among many Vietnamese artists and celebrities.

Paris Fashion Week is one of the four largest fashion weeks across the world, alongside the likes of London, New York, and Milan fashion weeks.

This year’s Feb. 27 – Mar. 7 event will feature the participation of nearly 100 designers from around the globe, introducing fashion collections performed by more than 1,000 models.

Phuong Hoa’s “Thuong” collection includes 15 designs made within six months, inspired by nostalgia, love, family and homeland.
Designer Phuong Hoa aspires to sustainable fashion by using natural origin and environmentally friendly materials. She uses the famous My A silk of Tan Chau from An Giang province for wedding dresses in the “Thuong” collection.
Phuong Hoa said the combination of black and white for the wedding dresses was a challenge for her.
The combination of the body part of the ao dai and part of the evening dress made of linen and embossed silk is a combination of Asian and European features. She was inspired by ao dai and classic costumes of French aristocrats.
Phuong Hoa’s wedding dresses have fresh phalaenopsis orchids attached. Phalaenopsis is considered the queen of flowers with its brilliant beauty and enduring vitality.
Accompanying designer Tran Phuong Hoa to the upcoming Paris Fashion Week is designer Le Nguyen Nhat Linh.
Nhat Linh will launch a one-of-a-kind Bach Lien Yen Tu diamond jewelry collection inspired by patterns of the Tran Dynasty, which will be worn together with Phuong Hoa’s “Thuong” collection.
