Two Vietnamese universities listed in global rankings
The Hanoi National University (HNU) and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) have found a place in the World University Rankings by Subject 2020 compiled by British education company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

Accordingly, the VNU has three academic disciplines ranked by the QS, namely mathematics, physics and astronomy, and Computer Science & Information Systems.
Among them, Computer Science & Information Systems was among the 501st - 550th group.
Meanwhile, the HUST has three subjects in the top 500, comprising electrical and electronic engineering, mechanics, and computer science and information systems.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject is based on four indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper and H-index, with weightings adapted for each academic discipline.

The UK’s education organisation Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced on March 4 that Vietnam’s five training branches at three educational establishments have been named in the 2020 QS Stars University Ratings.
