Super storm Hagupit is approaching East Sea, reported by the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center.

Last night, the storm was centered at 10, 7 degree north latitude and 131, 9 degree east longitude. In past 24 hours, the super storm moved west northwestwards.

By December 5, typhoon Hagupit is located 390 kilometers of south eastward of Sama Island (Philippines), at 11, 4 degree north latitude and 128, 6 degree east longitude. The strongest wind near center is measured at over level 17. In next 24- 48 hours, typhoon Hagupit will move west northwestward.

The typhoon with complicated direction is predicted to enter East Sea with strong wind speed of level 10- 13.

Because of its influence, Gulf of Tonkin has experienced level 8- 10 northeast monsoon, sea rough. Today, the cold front will affect directly to north and central provinces, which will cause heavy rains on the large scale in the regions.

Meanwhile, East Sea’s northern territorial water and Paracel Island will be shouldered by 2- 4 meters big waves and northeast monsoon of level 7- 8, gusts up to level 9-10, sea rough.
