VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnam’s U19 football team will leave Vietnam on March 1 for over two months of comprehensive and rigorous training camps in the UK, Belgium and Japan.

The General Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) will cover the travel cost and daily expenses, while Hoang Anh Gia Lai group of Doan Nguyen Duc is sponsoring the training costs.

Guillaume Graechen’s students completed all the prerequisite visa procedures on February 17 to take part in the overseas training kicking off next month.

Staying in the UK in 20 days, Vietnam’s U19 players will attend training at Colney centre, and have an opportunity to hone in and sharpen their professional skills facing off in friendly matches with U19 Arsenal, U19 Fullham and U19 Tottenham.

In Belgium, the Vietnamese footballers will participate in an exhaustive month-long training schedule, which includes “friendly competition play” with trainees from Arsenal JMG.

As scheduled, Vietnam’s U19 squad will fly to Japan for a 23-day training course in final preparation for competing at the U19 Southeast Asia Championships taking place in Hanoi in September 2014 and the final round of U19 Asia Championships 2014 in Myanmar in October.
