In the early hours of March 18, U22 Vietnam arrived in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, China, to participate in the CFA Team China 2025 international tournament.

This event serves as a valuable opportunity for the young Vietnamese squad to test their skills against some of the strongest teams in Asia.

Upon arrival, the team was warmly welcomed by local organizers, who provided logistical support to ensure a smooth transition from the airport to their hotel.

The squad is staying at the Gangfu Junlan Grand Hotel, the designated accommodation for all participating teams, which include Vietnam, Uzbekistan, and South Korea.

According to the schedule, U22 Vietnam will hold their first training session at 4:00 PM on March 18, preparing for their opening match against U22 South Korea on March 20 at 2:30 PM (Hanoi time).

The team will then face U22 Uzbekistan on March 23 at 6:35 PM and U22 China on March 25 at 6:35 PM, with all matches taking place at the Yancheng Olympic Sports Center Stadium.

Facing high-caliber opponents, U22 Vietnam sees this tournament as a crucial learning experience to improve their gameplay. Head coach Dinh Hong Vinh has brought 25 players to China, though the team faces an unfortunate setback with the absence of Dinh Bac due to injury.

The weather in Yancheng is gradually warming up, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 23°C. The coaching staff has prepared an adaptation plan to help the players acclimate quickly.

With the AFC U23 qualifiers and SEA Games 33 on the horizon, U22 Vietnam is determined to gain valuable experience and fine-tune their tactics for the challenges ahead.
