VietNamNet Bridge – The U22 Vietnamese football team had an unsuccessful start losing 1-4 to host Becamex Binh Duong in its first match at the 2012 Binh Duong Television (BTV) Cup on November 18.

In the 34th minute striker Anh Duc made a powerful header to open the scoring for the host after his teammates Milorad and Huynh Kesley widen the gap.

Mirolad then completed his double to make it 4-0 in the 52nd minute.

The U22 team could only manage to score a goal by forward Van Thang in the 75th minute.

The defeat put the team at the bottom of group A with Thailand’s Chonburi FC, who also got no points after its first match.

Meanwhile, the host secured the top position after two successful matches.
