VietNamNet Bridge – The U23 national football squad will play two friendlies against clubs from France and Japan between May and June in preparation for the 27th SEA Games.
The Vietnamese team will test their mettle against Guingamp Club from France at Hang Day stadium, Hanoi, on May 30.
The French club has a proficient style of playing in the second-class football tournament in France and is currently placed third in the rankings.
Also at Hang Day stadium, the U23 team will face Kashima Antlers Club from Japan on June 4.
The Japanese club has won championship titles seven times in Japanese national football league, J-League, since it began in 1993.
The two friendlies will mark 40 years of establishing diplomatic ties of Vietnam-Japan and Vietnam-France.
