Viet Nam aim to gain experience via these matches to prepare for the 2016 AFC U-23 qualifiers that will take place in Qatar from January 14 to 20, 2016.

On December 17, the team will play a friendly match with Japan-based Cerezo Osaka Football Club at Hang Day Stadium.
