Together with keeping tour prices unchanged during the long National Day holiday early next month, many tour operators in HCMC will offer early birds discounts and extra promotions.

Vietravel, Fiditourist, The He Tre, Du Lich Viet and Saigontourist said they would not hike tour prices during the National Day holiday. Moreover, tourists will enjoy discounts on the tours jointly operated by travel firms and Vietnam Airlines.
A lot of tours lasting 3-4 days will be organized on this occasion. Some tours in the north will last 6-7 days.
The He Tre will offer two tours in the northeastern region lasting six days and seven days respectively, with departure scheduled for August 30. In addition to the attractions across Dong Van Stone Plateau like Lung Cu Flag Pole, the mansion of the Vuong Family, kermis and Ma Pi Leng Pass, tourists will travel along the Gam River, make a tour of Ba Be Lake and visit Nguom Ngao Cave and Ban Gioc Waterfalls.
The six-day tour is priced at VND9,865,000 per tourist, while other tours sell for VND11,436,000. Such prices are 35% lower than the normal levels given the cooperation with Vietnam Airlines for tourism stimulus.
Fiditour will offer domestic tours called “Blue Sea - Island”, “Legendary Highlands”, “Truong Son Road: Three Heritages” and “Hanoi: Thousand Years of Culture” with discounts of up to 30%.
For example, a trip to Phu Quoc will fall by VND1,579,000 to VND5,195,000 per tourist, while a Con Dao tour will drop by VND300,000 to VND6,465,000. A four-day tour to Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Halong and Yen Tu will cost only VND7,500,000, a sharp drop of VND3,850,000.
A Hanoi-Lao Cai-Sapa tour lasting four days will sell for VND7,695,000, a decline of VND3,450,000. A five-day trip to Hue, La Vang, Danang, Hoi An and Ba Na will be cut by VND900,000 to VND8,295,000.
Joining hands with VietJetAir, Vietravel will offer tourists a discount of VND3.3 million on a six-day tour to Hanoi, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ban Gioc Waterfall, Ba Be Lake and Son Tay, meaning this tour will be priced at only VND9.9 million. A Chau Doc-Nui Cam-Can Tho tour will decline 15% from early July.
Saigontourist Travel Service Company also informed tour prices during the National Day holiday would not go up.
Tourists from HCMC can choose their destinations among Buon Ma Thuot, Hanoi, Haiphong, Sapa, Danang, Nha Trang, Dalat, Phan Thiet and the Mekong Delta with tour prices ranging from VND2.5 million to VND6.5 million.
From Hanoi, tourists can go on a trip to Phu Quoc, Hue, Nha Trang, Halong, Cat Ba, Ha Giang, Sapa or Cao Bang, priced at VND3.25 million or above.
On the occasion of National Day, Saigontourist will launch its river tours. Recommended tours include a half-day tour to Cu Chi Tunnel, Long Phuoc Garden and Binh Quoi Tourist Village and a one-day tour to Can Gio and Long An, quoted at VND294,000-2,230,000 per person.
