VietNamNet Bridge - Fifteen collectors are showcasing their antiques and paintings at the ‘Antiques Culture & Contemporary Fine Art Paintings – the National Pride’ exhibition from October 12-19 at No. 628 Hoang Hoa Tham Street in Tay Ho District in Hanoi.

The collection features more than 300 exhibits made from various materials, many of which are being presented to the public for the first time. They cover the national development process from the ancient to the modern era, including typical artifacts from each historical period.

Items on display include precious artifacts, including incense burners in a crown shape and lamps from the reign of King Le Trung Hung, along with incense burners from the Le and Mac dynasties.

Also on display are nearly 50 paintings by famous artists who graduated from the Indochina College of Fine Arts, including Bui Xuan Phai, Nguyen Tu Nghiem, Diep Minh Chau, and Nguyen Dung.

Prestigious antiques collectors, including Duong Minh Chinh, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Nguyen Ngoc Dan, Tran Thao, Pham Duc Si, Tran Ngoc Viet, Trinh Hung and Nguyen Dat, will hold discussions with visitors on the unique value of art, culture and history of their artifacts, as well as their passion and interesting experiences in this field.

A non-profit auction will also be held as part of the event’s framework. The part of money earned from the auction will be donated to activities in support of soldiers on duty who are safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty of its seas and islands.
