VietNamNet Bridge – Students from Hanoi-based Hoa Binh University create special costumes from used newspapers, papers, plastic bags, toilet tissues, etc. with the message “Let’s join hand to keep the environment green”.

Hoa Binh University’s Fashion Design Faculty on March 26 evening organized the “Green Party” to support the Earth Hour 2011.

Students use waste to design clothes.

“I’m really surprised at my students’ products. They have done much more

than what we have taught them,” said lecturer Minh from the Fashion Design Faculty.

This costume, made from paper, shows the harmony between nature, trees and animals.

Made by toilet tissues, this costume symbolizes a swan,

the ambassador of the environment.

“If we don’t protect the environment, we will be hit by pollution,” is the

message conveyed by this black costume.
