The pair of statues can be found in Tuong Binh Hiep ward of Thu Dau Mot City’s, with each stretching for around 30 meters long. They are being placed along the sides of Ba Sang Bridge, which leads to the ward, a place also famous for making traditional lacquer artworks.

The unique dragon statues made from 38 clay pots and 20,000 jugs were created by local craftsmen from the famous 180-year-old Dai Hung pottery kiln in Tuong Binh Hiep ward in celebration of the recent 2024 Lunar New Year.

The artwork has drawn plenty of public attention to explore pottery - one of the province’s most well-known traditional crafts.
