The famous songwriter confirmed that he left the show because he is busy with a tour in the Czech Republic and other European countries. He left Vietnam to Czech Republic on May 11.

Tran Tien denied the information that he left Universal Steps because of the pressure from the public. He said he was very interested in this show.

Earlier, some viewers didn’t agree with Tran Tien’s “sensitive” comments in the last three shows, for example “I’m waiting for her sexy buttock but i didn’t”, “You smiled a lot and it made you like a woman”, “Where did you face in that your face is now full of marks of women’s breasts”.

Male singer Hua Vi Van, who was commented “You smiled a lot and it made you like a woman”, said he was not sad about Tran Tien’s remarks. Van said it is not a big deal. Tran Tien spoke frankly like in the real life, which is appropriate to a reality show.

“After the show, Mr. Tien saw me in person and said ‘Please don’t be sad at my comment. If you are sad about me, you will be sad your whole life’. We should not pick holes in his comments,” said Hua Vi Van.

Universal Steps organizer – Cat Tien Sa, said that it would make public the new juryman on May 15, at the third show.

This is the third time the reality show changed its juryman, after songwriters Tran Tien and Duc Huy replaced movie directors Le Hoang and Quang Dung.

From ten pairs of dancers, singer Hua Vi Van and his partner were rejected after the show on May 1. Rocker Pham Anh Khoa now takes the lead. This Sunday, May 15, competitors will compete in Rumba and Quickstep at Hanoi’s Quan Ngua Sports Palace.
