There are many exciting festivals being held over the upcoming national holidays (Liberation Day and May Day), here are just a few you should not miss the chance to see.

On the theme of “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development; Hue – one destination, five World Heritages”, the 10th Hue Festival 2018 will be held from April 27 to May 2 in Thua Thien-Hue Province. It will feature a number of cultural activities and performances by more than 20 international art troupes from various countries.

A highlight of the event is Trinh Cong Son music night, with the participation of well-known Vietnamese singers such as Hong Nhung, Le Quyen, Duc Tuan, Ngoc Mai, Lan Nha, and Tan Son.

Do Temple Festival will take place from April 29 to May 1 (14-16 lunar March). Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will last for two months, from April 30 to June 30, with fireworks displays by teams from Vietnam, Poland, France, the US, Italy, Hong Kong, Switzerland, and Portugal.

A folk cultural programme will be held from April 28-29 at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to serve up entertainment to people living in the capital during the Liberation Day (April 30) and May Day national holidays.
