VietNamNet reporters visited Bai Chay tourist area and Tuan Chau international cruise port in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province on March 4 and saw deserted scenes.
Before the pandemic, Tuan Chau international cruise port served thousands of visitors every day. But now the cruise port is quiet.
“Although the Covid outbreak has been partly controlled, the situation is still not good. The number of passengers is still modest. We have to cut down staff to reduce costs," said a cruise ship owner.
