Island” in Trang An on Saturday.
At 9 am, he was at the base camp outside the studio and changed shoes to go to the studio.
The Ambassador was escorted by the press attaché Lisa Wishman. The
base camp is where the film crew work during the day. They return to
hotels at night.
The Ambassador talked with the producer of the film Kong: Skull Island, Mr. Alex Garcia, inside an office set up in a van. Garcia said the crew has more than 400 members, both American and Vietnamese.
Mr. Osius presented the film crew members with the US-VN badges.
Actor Jason Mitchell happily received the badge of the US ambassador. He said he and nearly 200 foreign crew members like Vietnamese pho (noodles) and Vietnamese cuisine.
The Ambassador also presented badges to members of the makeup and hair workshop.
The diplomat was taken to different workshops by producer Alex Garcia.
Leaving the main camp, the Ambassador went to the studio. Ninh Binh is the largest studio in Vietnam for the Kong: Skull Island crew. They are working here from Feb. 27 through March 13.
The studio is located inside the valley, divided into two zones. The first zone is an island surrounded by rivers and mountains. The second area is another vast valley. The creative staff of the film are Americans and Australians. On the left is the specialist Stephen Rosenbaum, who made special effects for the blockbuster Avatar.

After more than four hours in the studio, the ambassador waded in mud in the valley.
Ambassador Osius said that the arrival of the Hollywood project in Vietnam opens up a new chapter of cooperation between the two countries.
