The visit to the school yesterday was part of Dieng’s program to join a training camp of Jr.NBA Vietnam 2016 which lasts until Sunday and is sponsored by the Dutch Lady brand of the dairy company FrieslandCampina Vietnam.

During the trip, Dieng would help coach young basketball talents and find the top 10 males and 5 females for this year’s Jr. NBA Vietnam All-Stars team to join upcoming friendship matches in Southeast Asia by year-end.

The 26-year-old Dieng, who is 2.1m tall, is a Senegalese professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was listed as the No. 10 power forward and the No. 44 player in the U.S. in 2010. Then, he was drafted 21st overall by the Utah Jazz in the 2013 NBA draft and was then traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
