In Hanoi, the company will perform at Au Co Arts Theatre at 8 Huynh Thuc Khang Street on May 16, meet with artists from the Vietnam Song, Dance and Music Theatre and students from the Vietnam College of Dance, and have an exchange with children at the Hanoi SOS Village.

After that, they will tour to Ho Chi Minh City, where they are scheduled to have a public performance at the Municipal Opera House on May 18, meet with artists from the Bong Sen (Lotus) Theatre, Arabesque Dance Troupe and the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Opera and Symphony Orchestra, and visit Disability Resource and Development (DRD) Vietnam Centre.

The Trey McIntyre Project was selected to perform in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by Dance Motion USA, a program sponsored by the US Department of State and produced by the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The aim is to share some of America’s finest contemporary dance with people around the world. This Vietnam tour will include public performances, master classes, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, exchanges with Vietnamese artists, and outreach to underprivileged audiences.
