Grammy winning DJ/producer Zedd has announced earlier this week that Haywyre, a young talented electronic-jazz fusion producer from the U.S., will be accompanying him on the Zedd True Colors concert in HCMC Friday night.

Haywyre, who was born Martin Vogt in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the U.S., spent 14 years studying piano and classical music and jazz but later found his interest in electronica, dubstep and Hip-hop when he lived in Austria. He came back the U.S. in 2008 and started his music career with the stage name of Haywyre. His music is a so-called “Post Avant-Garde Pre-Futuristic Jazz-Fusion” as he has stated on his Facebook page. Vogt has had three releases with Vancouver-based label Monstercat.

Earlier this year, Haywyre made a nine-day Two Fold tour that left a deep impression on audiences. His popular creations include “Two Fold, Pt.1” album and his piano cover of “Smooth Criminal,” a hit of late King of Pop Michael Jackson that has had over one million views on YouTube.

Previously, popular Russian German DJ/producer Zedd announced that Vietnam is on his Asia tour, which also takes in the Philippines, Thailand and Japan. This is Zedd’s second world tour after “Clarity Tour” in 2012 to promote his latest second album “True Colors” which was launched in May.

Before his arrival in Vietnam, Zedd staged concerts in Las Vegas on June 24-25, Germany on July 31 and Spain on August 1. After the Asia tour, he will perform in major cities in the U.S.

Zedd True Colors concert in Vietnam, organized by Brandln and Pulse Active, will take place at Rach Chiec Golf Driving Range in HCMC’s District 2 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday.
